ROCK ART IN NERPIO (ALBACETE). MACALÓN’S SHELTERS. FIRST DATA
Abstract
We present in this work some data about the rock art of El Macalón shelters, in Nerpio (Albacete).
Although the general state of conservation of the paintings is not very good, we can secure the
appearance of Levantine and Schematic figures. Its placement near the important habitat of El
Macalón reinforces the archaeological value of the place.
